Expect dynamic cup and aromatic notes of mixed citrus up front, followed by a rounded sweetness like stone fruit and tropical fruit, and a syrupy cocoa finish. We especially enjoy this coffee as a single origin espresso, but it will be delicious brewed in all methods.

Origin: Small farms across the Nebilyer Valley local to Kuta washing mill, Tambul-Nebilyer District, Western Highlands, Papua New Guinea

While coffees from the South Pacific tend to have earthy, vegetal flavor profiles, this peaberry-separation lot processed at the Kuta mill is fruit-forward, tropical, and sweet. The Kuta mill processed this lot through hand separation to remove defect cherry, and a double wet fermentation, similar to Kenyan coffees. Expect a round cup with complex flavors of stone fruit, pineapple candy, and mixed citrus (lime and grapefruit), over a tasty chocolate base.
