Origin: Smallholder farms surrounding Embu town, Embu County, Kenya

Coffees from Embu are generally rounder, heavier in the cup, as opposed to lighter, sharper (less accessible) coffees from surrounding counties like Nyeri or Kirinyaga. This exemplary lot of top-grade AA screen size cherry displays flavors of syrupy red grapefruit, mixed tropical fruit, and cooked-down caramel.
